Why Is It Important to Keep My Appointment?

Once an appointment has been scheduled, you are strongly encouraged to keep it. This is largely because the tracer material, which has a shelf life of only 10 hours, is purchased and prepared specifically for you. It cannot be used for anyone else.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, notify your physician's office or Macomb Imaging Center at least 24 hours beforehand. If you fail to keep or cancel your appointment, you will be billed for the tracer. Your insurance company cannot be held financially responsible for this cost.
